A Hillfort located above the village of Pragança, in the Parish of Lamas

Found in 1893, it has been the object of archaeology studies, both Portuguese and foreign, that has contributed to the specific knowledge of its occupation, which encompasses the final Neolithic period, the Cooper, Bronze and Iron Age and the Roman period, when its occupation was ceased.

After many stages of investigation, it is thought that this important settlement may have been inhabited after the Cooper Age, in the beginning of the 3^rd millennium B.C., maintaining its occupation through the Bronze and Iron Ages. It also includes evidences of the Roman period.
